Don’t forget to take lots of pictures of your final product and tag me on Instagram and Facebook (@thecrochetqueendesigns). Elf Ornament FREE PATTERN

It’s my favorite time of year! Time for decorated trees, hot chocolate, and twinkle lights. What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to do some fun crafting at home?! This sweet little elf takes about 1-2 hours to make (depending on if you are bingeing a Netflix holiday movie while you crochet), and only uses 3 yarn colors. You can keep this little guy as just an elf for your shelf, or you can add some yarn or string to the top of his hat and make him a little ornament! He make a great stocking stuffer or gift topper for everyone on your list 🙂 What…

    My First Craft Fair!

I recently participated in my first craft fair! Super exciting, right?! A church that has adopted my husband while he goes through his seminary education invited us to come visit them. They also informed me of their fair that weekend and gave me the chance to set up a booth. I figured this was a great opportunity to get my feet wet and try out the craft fair scene. I have been super nervous to get out there in the real world to sell my product, but it felt hard to say no to their offer and I am so glad I said yes! This fair was definitely a learning…

FREE PATTERN – Black Infinity Scarf

I have started a new tradition! Every year before the winter months I make my husband a new scarf. He LOVES scarves. Every time we go yarn shopping he picks up all the textures he likes and tells me it would make an excellent scarf for him. So while at Michael’s a few weeks ago he picked up some Bernat Velvet yarn and I decided why not? It is finally getting close to scarf season so he needs a new one! I picked up a single skein of the black (obviously not the skein in the photo above but it is the same brand and size) and went to work.…

    I Finished My First Wearable!

A few weeks ago, I was getting ready to send off a care package to my Sister-in-Law. She is extremely pregnant, so I wanted to be sure that I included something fun for her and not just cute stuff for her babies. So I texted her and she jokingly asked how long it would take for me to make a cardigan. I, of course being the crazy person I am, thought now would be the time to dive into a massive project. I mean, why not? She wants one and I love her because she is my sister. Plus she is pregnant and pregnant girl gets what she wants. So…
